Liverpool Kick Jutsu

Deaf children and Young People in particular were finding it increasingly difficult to attend martial arts classes without support from their parents or immediate family.  Martial arts by its very nature is extremely stringent in its approach to etiquette and historical reliance and is often inflexible in it's approach in relation to sign langauge.

The Liverpool Kick Jutsu Academy founding member and instructor is a Member of the Register of Sign Language Interpreters which makes sessions fully inclusive.

Kick Jutsu is a martial art that consists of kickboxing, grappling and close quarter combat.
All session are delivered in British Sign Langauge and is accessible to all Deaf young people aged 4 - 19 years.

There are currently two different age groups.  4 - 9/10years and 9/10 -19years, and two places where kickboxing is taught, MSDP and prescot primary school in Knowsley.
