The 'HANDS' project offers bespoke, tailor-made and age appropriate sessions, which aim to
develop learning and awareness of British Sign Language, deaf people, their communication needs and their culture.
Pupils will learn to express their feelings
and emotions, build confidence in group activities and improve levels of self esteem.
Sessions are broken into 10 weeks
with the main objective of having fun.
Each week the 'HANDS' project will further enhance and support the schools already established curriculum
with the main focus of enjoyment and learning.
