Play Schemes
Play
schemes are ran throughout school holidays for deaf and hearing children aged between 4-10 years. We are open from 9am-
4pm Monday to Friday. we set up a range of activities at our centre such as pool and football table competitions,
cooking, healthy eating days, sports and games, arts and crafts, face painting. There is also other things which children
have access to any time e.g. Wii console, dvds, board games, card games etc.
Each week of play scheme we also have day trips out to various places
which the children really enjoy e.g. Splash world, Gulliver's world, Splash zone, Under water street, Beach or Park,
Farmer Ted's, Chill factor, Sports centres, football and lots more. We have had up to 50 children
at our play schemes, who always want come back to our next one .
Youth Schemes
Our Youth Schemes also run when the young people are off school, However
as they are older they go on different activities such as: Ice skating, Football with Everton, Mountain Boarding, Manley Mere,
Southport fair, Chester zoo, Beach, Fencing, Roller Disco,Splash World, Quazar, Mini golf , New Brighton Etc. Before
Each Youth Scheme the youth staff have a Steering Group with the youth to find out where they would like to go or what they
would want to do.
