After School 4 - 10 Years Old
The
after school club is aimed at children aged 4 - 10 years of age. The main feeder school for the after school club is
Knotty Ash Primary School, although children attend from other mainstream schools. The after school club runs Monday-
Friday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Unlike many other after school clubs who are mostly based in a sports hall or classroom,
the children attending get to leave the setting and participate in external activities such as: - Swimming Lessons
- Street Dancing
- Rock Climbing
- Ten-Pin Bowling
- Gymnastics
- Martial Arts
- Arts
& Crafts
- Home Work Club
- and a whole host of other activities...
How Much. In order
to cover petrol, snacks and refreshments, there is a nominal fee of £2.00 per child per day. I am sure you will
agree that in comparison to other under resources after school clubs, this is very reasonable.
After School Club 11 - 19 years old The after school club for young
people aged 11-19 years of age runs from 2:30- - 6:00pm on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. The main feeder
school for this is Broadgreen International High School, although young people attend from various mainstream schools throughout
the boroughs of Merseyside Activities include: - Swimming
- Kick Boxing
- Archery
- Scuba Diving
- Football
- Basketball
- Indoor Hockey
- Dodgeball
- Fencing
