Amy Walsh - Trustee - Aged 16 "I have never attended activities that include everyone before. It's
not a statement, it's a fact!" I love being able to control my future, it's refreshing to know that services
can actually be youth led! - I love it!"

Aaron Parry - Trustee - Aged 16 I have a hearing sister and cousins, Deaf Active have made it possible for
us all to participate in the same activities together. Where else can that be honestly said to be true? Being
a trustee of Deaf Active is more important than anything else. Young people get to decide the future, the get to mould
the professionals of tomorrow with the right advice from the right people with the right skills".

Stephanie Bray - Trustee - Aged 16 "My big sister, my big brother and I are all Deaf. I have loved
growing up here and I am so happy to be able to give something back to a community that gave me so much. There is no
other place like this in the country, we are empowered to do what WE want to do, and not what has been prescribed by local,
regional or national government!" I love being part of a charity that has a real representation of Deaf people
participating at every level."
