About Us
Deaf Active is located in Liverpool, Merseyside and has been running
since May 2008. We have forever strengthening links with the Merseyside Society for Deaf People and other
mainstream youth service provision in the boroughs of Merseyside and further afield.It
is an extremely popular service with Deaf children and young people in attendance, Children of Deaf Adults and hearing siblings
and friends, from all over the Merseyside region.We are active in every sense of the word
by providing full access to traditional and non-traditional sporting activities such as:
Fencing
Martial arts
Trampolining
Football
Archery
Street Dancing
A
majority of the activities come with accredited training in one form or another and strong links with schools and youth services such
as Broadgreen International School and Knotty Ash Primary School, Liverpool Youth Engagement Team, Liverpool Youth Services,
provides children and young people with the best possible service.
